Instead of sorting through piles of CVs and then deciding whom to interview face to face for the first interview, with concomitant costs, employers will be able to see and hear each applicant answering the selection of questions on video and then be able to share them amongst other managers within the organisation. Only then do they need to go forward with face to face with the best applicants.
The process is made available via a reseller agreement with Sonru.com, a company headquartered in Ireland that has already seen its technology significantly streamline and improve the screening process for recruiters and hiring managers of blue chip companies in Europe, Canada and the MENA region.
Recruiters post an interview online (specifying the time allowed to read and answer each question) and sending an email invitation to relevant candidates. Using a webcam, candidates answer the questions set, with recruiters then free to review the video responses at their convenience.
