Through BlackJack Events exceptional ability to capture the essence of themes and ideas, Ogilvy's parking area was skillfully transformed into the biggest Rio Carnival festival of December 2008! The entrance to this carnival street-party was lined with a magical path of festive coloured lights that propelled guests into a world where fantasy engrossed reality and magic exceeded logic; or in other words - the beginning of an evening to remember.
Daring street performers, rhythmic drummers and striking hostesses clothed in colourful feathers and peacock-inspired dresses, provided a Rio concept that was of choreographed extravagance. Costumes, feathers, flavoursome food and glamour was bestowed in extravagance and the sheer power of the festivities kept celebrations going until the very, very early hours of the morning.
The experience was praised by all and the festive fun was seen as an ideal way for Ogilvy to end off their successful, busy season. Furthermore, the magical memories and the enchantment derived from this event is what will keep Ogilvy's employee's morals and motivations elevated during the rough economic times expected throughout 2009.
