Understanding the crisis lifecycle

Describing every crisis as an opportunity, Hilburg says, "Inspired leadership recognises this reality. How you respond to a crisis presents multiple stages and the opportunity of multiple appearances, allowing the face and voice of the company to remind your key communities why they trust you, or should."

The master class is designed to empower local C-level management, marketers, customer relations professionals and business strategists as they grapple with safeguarding their company in an environment where any slip is shared globally within seconds, and stands to destroy a business.

It will help business understand the crisis life cycle, how to manage each step effectively and illustrate how to avoid a crisis through a state-of-the-art risk and probability matrix to build the organisation's crisis avoidance culture. The class will also dive into strategies, such as developing a language platform specific to one's organisation to assure stakeholders about one's ability to control the 'circle of repeatability' and how to create and test crisis mitigation programmes to ensure they meet global standards. C-level executives will also learn what not to do in a crisis.
