Victoria Falls: the smoke is thundering

The forthcoming full moons - 23 March, 22 April and 21 May - will be the dates to note if wanting to witness the magical lunar rainbow, which appears the night before, the night of and the night after the full moon. The lunar rainbow is at its best, if the night is clear, when there is sufficient spray to create the moonbow effect.

Witnessing the Falls at its best can be done either from the air or walking the various trails.
