New local TV channel

According to Kopano P Molefe, founder and executive chairperson, the mandate of this local channel is to encourage and inculcate the spirit of social dialogue amongst social partners, especially amongst communities and society as a whole. It will be developmental in character and provide a platform for communities to express themselves spiritually, culturally, traditionally and politically freely without undue influence or intimidation.

It will offer opportunities to emerging and current scriptwriters, artists, filmmakers, actors, presenters, without discriminating against anyone because of his or her sexual orientation, race or disability, as enshrined in the constitution.

It is established in terms of Electronic and Communications Act of RSA.
