Kalk Bay Theatre cancels Tonight Neither Hamlet show
The producers of Tonight Neither Hamlet regret to announce that the run scheduled for Kalk Bay Theatre from 18 April to 5 May 2012 has had to be cancelled.
KBT Productions and Dowling Sisters Productions, who are co-producing the show, said that they still hoped to bring the production to Kalk Bay Theatre at a later date, and that the run scheduled for the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown would still go ahead from 28 June until 8 July.
"This is the first time a run has been cancelled at Kalk Bay Theatre and we apologise to our guests, but we will be looking for replacement productions shortly," said Simon Cooper, owner of Kalk Bay Theatre and producer at KBT Productions. "We will be contacting people who have booked tickets for Tonight Neither Hamlet and the competition winners to arrange refunds or
tickets to another show."
Cooper also said that the theatre was looking forward to hosting the Cape Town première of Sie Weiss Alles, which won a Standard Bank Silver Ovation Award at the 2011 National Arts Festival, from 9 May until 2 June.
