What secrets does your organisation want to know?

The constitution says that every person has the 'right to know', the right to access and to share information and yet, according to the Right2Know campaign, South Africans live in a society of secrets. To assist in this transparency, the organisation is calling on communities and organisation to list a Top 10 Secrets list.
What secrets does your organisation want to know?

The list will be drawn up in a series of mass meetings in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, featuring 'testimonies' from communities and organisations on the secrets they face that obstruct them from fulfilling their rights.

The purpose behind the list is twofold: first, to document existing needs in civil society and community-based organisations regarding information-access; second, to provide a rallying point for organised attempts to access that information.

Organisations can make a verbal testimony at one of its public meetings in March 2011 or make a written submission. Contact the provincial Right2Know campaign office at:
    Western Cape: +27 (0) 21 4617211 or email moc.liamg@elidec.emawkn
    Gauteng: +27 (0)11 4821913 or email az.gro.ixf@2resinagro
    KZN: +27 (0)31 3049305 or email moc.oohay@nzkk2r.
