K-Way wins Best Practice award

The Cape Clothing & Textile Cluster's AGM held recently in March 2010 awarded K-Way the ‘Best Practice Award' for showcasing excellence in world class manufacturing.

K-Way Production Manageress, Beverley Williams received the award at the AGM.

The company is reportedly the only factory in Africa that currently produces garments using sew-free technology. The brand, established in South Africa in 1980, is available in Cape Union Mart stores.

“To be awarded first prize over 39 other companies is an exciting achievement. This award truly belongs to the almost 200 staff that passionately creates the K-Way clothing in our factory,” comments group marketing manager, Evan Torrance.
