While the entry deadline has been extended, the exposure qualification date remained unchanged - eligible entries must have been must be published or aired for the first time between 1 June 2004 and 31 July 2005.
The new deadline is August 12, 2005. Because the entry process has been automated and brought online, those in charge of submitting their agency's entries can only do so on www.theloerieawards.co.za. All queries can be directed to .
Entries will therefore be accepted up until, and including, Friday, August 12. All packages and payments must be received by this final deadline.

The Loerie Awards 2005 management committee comprises Wingwing Mdlulwa, Chairman (Creative Circle), Andrew Human, Managing Director, Russell Cory (Financial Officer), Dee Blackie (MFSA), Veejay Archary (Think), Peter Carr (Commercial Producers Association), Nonjabulo Hlengwa (Café), Gerry Human (Creative Circle), Maserame Mouyeme (Association for Communication and Advertising), Mike Schalit (Creative Circle), Nici Stathacopoulos (Direct), and Roelof van Wyk (Interactive).
