Creative Circle results for July 2008

The Creative Circle results for June 2008 are out and according to chairperson Vanessa Pearson, the magazine and newspaper categories were unspeakably bad and only radio and experiential had winners worth mentioning.

Pearson's comments in full:

In the Radio category, beautifully produced spots for Vodacom were awarded first place. Judges' opinion - Rihanna's Umbrella was everyone's favourite, nothing else was worth mentioning in this category.

In the Television category, the most interesting piece of work was an animated production for Girl's and Boy's Town. Judges' opinion - very lovely to look at but the writing was weak.

Outdoor was kind of la la, with National Geographic placed first. Judges' opinion - lots of print campaigns rather than true outdoor campaigns.

In the Experiential category, first, second and third were worthy winners and well-entered. Judges' opinion - yay!

To find out how best to enter the Experiential category, call the winners.

Happy days.
