Inspiration in the Bay with HOMEMAKERS Expo

The Port Elizabeth HOMEMAKERS Expo, held at the Boardwalk Exhibition Centre from 28 to 31 July, was filled with inspiration to turn your house into a dream home. From when the visitors entered the venue, the show was received well. They were entertained from the moment they walked through the doors.

Congratulations to all award-winning exhibitors! Top accolades went to our overall winners for upholding excellent exhibitor standards. This award was won by a national exhibitor, Plantation Shutters, shared by our local exhibitor, Park Lane Décor.

Gold Awards went to: Websters Flooring, Bosch, Easiturf, Easylife Kitchens, FG Frameless Glass, Park Lane Décor and Plantation Shutters.

Silver Awards went to: All Weather Awnings & Blinds, Conde Nast House & Garden, Crouse & Gerber Hardwoods, Deranco, Fischer by Design, Glass Strengthening Systems, ISO Board SA, Major Tech, NMMU – Interior Design and Rendos.

Bronze Awards went to: Carved Unlimited, Country Creations PE, Cupboard Love, Fabric Box, Fennell’s Gas & Appliances, GC International, Genesis Acoustics, Lasher Tools, PE Blinds, Persian Carpets & Kilm, Snappy Chef, The House of Woodoc, Titan Tiles and Trellicor.

Congratulations to Frik Venter from Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth, who walked away with the amazing Easylife Kitchens Dream Kitchen valued at R135,000!

This year’s Master Upholsterer Winner is Llewellyn Brandon, Owner of NL Upholsterers.

Our Barista Winners are proud to represent the Eastern Cape at the SCASA National Championships in Johannesburg. Congratulations to the three winners - SCASA Eastern Cape Cuptasters Winner: Simpiwe Adams from Sumatran Premium Coffee; Latte Art Winner: Zeus from Mastertons; and finally, Scasa EC Barista Champion: Angeline McLagan from Ciro Coffee Academy.
