Finalists for 2016 Standard Bank Top Women Awards

The finalists have committed themselves to the implementation of policies and management systems that empower women as well as demonstrating their contribution to the economy and to the empowerment of other women.
Director of the awards, Karla Fletcher says that individuals and companies that promote the agenda of diversity in the workplace are celebrated as the trailblazers of the South African vision of empowerment. “This year, Topco Media and the Standard Bank Top Women Awards are proud to once again host the awards to celebrate and recognise leaders in business and on the forefront of transformation and gender empowerment.”
“More should be done to support women in business. These are the women who have consciously decided to take control of their destiny, relying on their own smarts for a livelihood. As a bank, we have strategically positioned ourselves for women such as these,” says Hannah Sadiki, executive head of customer channels at Standard Bank at Standard Bank.
