The Annual Employment Conference 2019

In future when we want to drive business performance, decide on appropriate workplace strategies and get greater returns on resources, the traditional 80/20 principle will be replaced by more detailed data that will provide unmatched business intelligence.

Businesses are reconfiguring their models and exploring human and robotic collaboration. Cycle time from raw material to finished product is shortening and tasks are being re-allocated. Developments such as these are driven largely by disruptors in the economic, technological, legislative, social and political environments. Challenging trading conditions, inflexible labour market policies, labour unrest, poor workforce productivity levels and wage inflation mean that businesses need to explore new horizons.

The Annual Employment Conference brings together thought leaders to explore the irreversible implications of the future business landscape and the impact on:

Labour market policy
Workforce models
The division of work
Competence assessment and remuneration
The employee value proposition
Unionisation
Culture and values.

Delegates will have the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers, including Peter Ndoro, Dawie Roodt, Dion Chang, Jonathan Goldberg, Thembi Chagonda, Annetjie Moore and Prof Haroon Bhorat.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference on 13 March 2019 at Emperors Palace. For more information visit www.globalbusiness.co.za, or contact Jade de Bruin (az.oc.ssenisublabolg@edaj) or Grant Wilkinson (az.oc.ssenisublabolg@tnarg).
