MSC launches video competition
With the help of Userfarm, a video crowdsourcing player in Europe, MSC Cruises recently launched a creative call to action, asking video makers to capture its Mediterranean spirit through short, original videos.
Everybody appreciates and values different moments in life, and what is considered memorable and moving varies greatly, just like the people and cultures of the Mediterranean region itself. MSC is looking for the most original, touching scenes to communicate this idea and to reflect the company's view of life: "the best moments are always unexpected and spontaneous".
In April 2013, MSC Cruises will select the 10 best videos, rewarding each of the chosen video makers with €400. The selected clips will then be posted to MSC's Facebook pages and the company's over one million MSC Facebook fans worldwide will be asked to vote for their favourite video. The winner will receive a prize of €2,000.
