African Network on Fish Technology & Safety headquarters in Tanzania

According to IPP Media, the African Network on Fish Technology & Safety has selected the Tanzanian Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) as its secretariat headquarters.

Yahya Mgawe, chief executive for FETA has requested the Tanzanian government to accredit the agency as an internationally recognised trainer on maritime fisheries.

"At this time we have a national education training [programme] which is not recognised at international level," he said.
