    Richard Stirton receives international acclaim

    Richard Stirton, winner of the first season of The Voice South Africa, was recently voted as the #1 Voice Choice artist worldwide - an international title from The Voice Talpa head office.

    Stirton hit #1 and #2 on iTunes with the releases of his covers, ‘The Sound of Silence’ and ‘Billie Jean’, and regained the top spot with his debut single, ‘What Tears Me The Most’ (penned by Brit award-winning artist James Bay). Richard also outsold the new Drake single at the time for close to two weeks.

    With the release of his debut album, Middle Ground on 7 October 2016, it rocketed off from the get go, with the album hitting the #1 spot on iTunes in a matter of hours and holding onto the top position for an extended period of time.

    February 2017 also saw the release of a brand new single and video from Stirton, entitled 'Call It Luck'.

    He is currently on his nationwide Middle Ground album launch tour, performing at these cities:
