Can Do fashion show explores cans as fashion items
As part of the Annual Green Expo, which will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre from 28-30 September 2012, the CAN DO! stage will showcase eco-fashion shows throughout the expo, with designs from the National Institute of Design (NID) alumnus in India and South Africa's creative genius, Sonwabile Ndamase.
As the designer of the original Madiba shirts, Ndamase has specially designed unique garments and accessories made out of cans, highlighting the versatility of the can as a trendy and fashionable item.
"Thanks to the partnership with environmentally conscious CAN DO! - I have taken the concept of recycled fashion to another level for any occasion," said Ndamase.
