Parmalat announces new COO

Wentzel has extensive experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Agricultural industries. He has particular expertise in the operational and procurement fields and has also been extensively involved in the financial arena.

Before joining Parmalat he was the CEO of Astral Foods, a company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and with a total turnover exceeding R8 billion.

Fabio Genitrini, Chairman of the Parmalat SA (Pty) Ltd Board, said the Board wished Wentzel success in his new position.
