This CEO, that CEO... who's in the MXit?
NEWSWATCH: According to various media reports, MXit has announced that founder and CEO Herman Heunis is stepping down with the sale of the firm to World of Avatar, with World of Avatar CEO Alan Knott-Craig Jnr expected to take over as CEO in October 2011. Meanwhile, there is still speculation on the standing of Avusa CEO Prakash Desai, who has been cashing in on share incentives.
Following the resignation of Dumisa Ntsebeza as Avusa chairman on Monday, 19 September 2011, the media group yesterday confirmed that Mvelaphanda Group CEO Mikki Xayiya has been appointed as interim non-executive chairman.
