Everyone with a phone can use Facebook Messenger, even without a Facebook account, with all its features including photos, videos, group chats, voice and video calling, stickers, GIFs, etc.
Facebook Messenger makes holidays more fun

Download Messenger and, on the welcome screen, you will see an option that says "Not on Facebook?" From there, you can sign up with your name, phone number and a photo.

    Pin a group conversation

If you often chat with the same group of people, pin your conversation to a page for easy access.

      • To pin group conversations, tap the Groups button at the bottom of the app. Within the group page, tap the Pin button in the top left hand corner, then select the conversation that you would like to add.• You can also assign a name to the group chat. To do so, tap the list of names in the group you want to pin, which will take you to a new screen that gives you the option to name the group and add a photo by tapping on the camera button. Once you are done customising the group, tap the pin button.

    Send a meeting spot location

You can choose to send a map of your location or another specific place, such as a spot where you would like your friends to meet you, as a separate message on Messenger.

      • To get started, just tap the location icon - or the More button (three dots) - at the bottom of the screen• If you want to tell a friend where in the music festival you are, search for the location and send a map of where it is. If you are running late, send a map of where you are, so friends know when to expect you.

Turn a conversation into a voice call

To voice call with your friends on Messenger, tap on phone in the upper right hand corner of the screen from within a conversation. Messenger will automatically voice call your friend, depending on the specific request.
