The debut episode will look at current trends in media and entertainment and how these are likely to evolve over time. "Analysing the recent report on this subject by PricewaterhouseCoopers, we will be speaking to a diverse group of industry experts, including Barry Ronge, Paul Burton, Vicky Myburgh and Omar Essack," says Vusi Zion (formerly Twala), the show's co-presenter and producer.

Focus on content of substance

The show is produced by N1 Media and Engage Entertainment and its anchor, producer and marketing and brand communications expert is Groovin Nchabeleng. "Considering the industry and the fact that Nonhlanhla Gasa is part of the team as the field reporter, the show will be stylish, but the focus is firmly on delivering content of substance," states Nchabeleng. "Viewers can expect intelligent conversation and infotainment and to walk away with fresh insights and interesting issues to debate.

"The show is not just for industry professionals. Viewers don't need to be experts, simply aware of the media because it is an important part of our everyday lives. That's why the show's content is so broad and will examine everything from commercials to consumerism. It will seek to demystify misconceptions and myths about the media along the way, but our goal is to showcase and celebrate South Africa's creative media and branding successes," he concludes.
