International alliance for SA PR agency

The Public Relations International Organisation (PROI) has selected Cape Town-based Atmosphere Communications as its exclusive South African partner. PROI, which has 50 partners in 120 cities in 40 countries globally, met with a number of local agencies in sub-Saharan Africa.

The agency has had several approaches by international players for alliances and joint ventures, but the cultural fit with PROI and its network of independent players, made this an ideal partnership.

Opening doors for Atmosphere

The partnership will open doors for the agency on many levels, says MD Nicola Nel: "It will allow us to tap into the expertise and best practice of some of the world's best independent agencies. We will attend regular international conferences where we will learn from successes and case studies from around the world and where we will also share these from our side."
