The workshop will address the development of skills and techniques, provide practical insight for implementing them and facilitate a question and answer opportunity for those in attendance to discuss the relevance to their particular business situations.
The speaker is Paul Hartnady, CEO of Profitlab, who has over 35 years of experience in general management, coaching and business advisory mentoring across various sectors. The event is hosted by Property Point, a Growthpoint Properties initiative.
Established in 2008, Growthpoint’s award-winning enterprise development initiative has been instrumental in creating over 1 141 jobs generating over R451 million in procurement opportunities for almost 100 small businesses that participated in its two-year incubation programme.
“Property Point focuses on three key elements: minimising the risk perception of small businesses in the property industry, building solid relationships and assisting entrepreneurs to establish a good reputation,” says Shawn Theunissen, head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at Growthpoint Properties and the head of Property Point.
“Knowing how to approach clients, and what techniques will create successful and mutually beneficial negotiations is an essential skill for all small business entrepreneurs,” says Theunissen.
The event will finish at 8.30pm with drinks and finger snacks being served. The investment cost is R100.00 and, as seating is limited, advance booking is essential and can be made by emailing az.gro.tniopytreporp@ofni.
