Footprint Marketing Awards now open

The Footprint Marketing Awards, which recognise exceptional shopping centre marketing, innovation and creative achievements, together with economic success, within the South African property industry on a regional level are open for this year's entries. The competition closes on Friday 17 June 2011.
Footprint Marketing Awards now open

Footprint Award winners will be announced at regional functions held in Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal in August and September this year. All regional winners of Gold Footprint Awards will automatically be entered into the 2011 Spectrum Awards to be held in Gauteng in October.

"Factors which underpin retail marketing excellence, span strategy and objectives, creativity, implementation, cost-effectiveness and impact and results," says Amanda Stops, GM of the South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC), which organises the event annually.

"All these elements must be considered for marketing success and we encourage all retail marketing professionals to enter these industry awards."

As a vast array of campaigns, initiatives and communications make up retail centre marketing, the awards reflect this by including a diversity of categories covering everything from public and community relations, to digital marketing and visual merchandising and sales promotions and events, and more.
