Ogilvy, which is partnering the competition for the fourth time and for the first time with its client Coca-Cola in the category “Engaging with teens through branded content for Coca-Cola”, has seen record interest, with more than 180 projects received, of which three have found a place in the final.

The other partners of the competition are TF1, the European Commission with Dailymotion, National Film Board of Canada (NFB) and the Korea Communications Commission (KCC). This year, MIPTV has for the first time created its own category: “Next Generation Audience Engagement,” and has selected 10 of the most innovative projects from 149 submissions.

All the finalists will pitch their projects to a panel of executives from the audiovisual digital and advertising sectors or the world of advertising during live pitch sessions held in Cannes during MIPTV. The winners in each category will be announced on Wednesday 14 April, during the Zapping Show awards ceremony hosted by British presenter Ray Cokes.
