Zuma to confide in black scribes

NEWSWATCH: The president of the African National Congress, Jacob Zuma, is having an exclusive off-the-record meeting with the latest incarnation of the Black Journalist Forum in Sandton, Johannesburg, today, Friday, 22 February 2008, reports the Mail & Guardian Online. The forum is raising controversy with its black-only policy.

The latest Media24 magazine casualty could be Reader's Digest, according to Business Report. The newspaper also reports that while Caxton says it has no intention of shutting down any of its 12 magazines, it is concerned over profitability “because of competition in an environment where advertising revenues were not growing”.

The popular Isidingo actress was highly praised by colleagues and family members at her memorial service held yesterday, Thursday 21 February, at the Johannesburg Country Club.
