Creative Circle results for July 2011

The Creative Circle results for July 2011 are out and, once again, according to this month's chair Brett Morris, "[n]ot a massive amount of work to choose from. The jury specifically asked me to say that it wasn't the best of months. Which is cool; we should always aim for the best but let's remember that this is Ad of the Month, not Loeries Grand Prix of the month."

GeneralNot a massive amount of work to choose from. The jury specifically asked me to say that it wasn't the best of months. Which is cool; we should always aim for the best but let's remember that this is Ad of the Month, not Loeries Grand Prix of the month. The winners were pretty unanimous and there was a clear gap between the winning work and the rest.
PrintThree clear standouts in this category. There was nothing separating the two pieces tied second.
Ambient/outdoorA small selection with no ambient work, which is disappointing because it feels like we are missing a trick as an industry, not going beyond traditional outdoor. Also some posters that would make better magazine ads but cool ideas nonetheless.
TV/cinemaNot a huge amount to choose to from but some funny, feel good winners gave us something to showcase.
RadioSome edgy work from a brave client, Frank.net, won the day. Lots of daylight between the three winners and the rest.
