Last call for Young Creatives!

Do you consider yourself as one of South Africa's up-and-coming young creative talents? CineMARK is offering you the once in a lifetime opportunity to rub shoulders with international industry leaders at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in 2005. Deadline for entries is looming and submissions need to be in by Friday, 8 April 2005.

All you have to do is submit your entry into the 2005 Young Creatives Competition now and stand in line to win a trip to the highly coveted Cannes Festival valued at R40 000.
All interested young creatives born after 26 June 1976, are eligible to enter.

Creative teams, comprising a copywriter and an art director are required to design an advertising campaign to promote CineMARK's wide range of advertising options to would-be / potential advertisers, displaying the unique advantages of reaching the target audience in the cinema environment and illustrate what a powerful tool it can be for clients wanting to communicate with the vast number of cinema-goers.

The campaign needs to be designed to run on the boards, which make up the cinema foyer queuing system. You can create a series of storyboards to run consecutively through the queuing systems (to be presented on one entry) or a single storyboard promoting CineMARK. So, get those creative juices flowing and demonstrate your talent for what could be the best experience of your career.

If you are a student enter the student category for the yet undiscovered creative talent. The student teams are required to answer the same brief and stand in line to win CineMARK VIP movie cards entitling them to unlimited free movies to the end of 2005.

The deadline for entries is Friday, 8 April 2005.
