Caxton to pay Competition Commission's admin penalty
Caxton has announced that it will not contest the Competition Commission ruling on its commission system and will pay the administrative penalty set out. Caxton also indicated that it would also contribute a sum towards a bursary and development fund for previously disadvantaged persons in the media and advertising industries for three years.
Moreover, Caxton will also provide a 25% advertising space bonus benefit to small advertising agencies for three years, subject to certain rules and limits. Subsequently, Caxton has decided, in certain instances, to continue with the commission system for now and has actually increased the commission rate to registered advertising practitioners.
