Cell C introduces Interactive greeting cards

In keeping with festivities synonymous with Christmas, Cell C, together with SA Greetings, the country's largest card manufacturers have come up with the first ever interactive greeting card that allows buyers to record and send personalized voice messages to card recipients.

The enhanced cards, to hit the shelves nationwide on October 15, will have a Cell C sticker, attached to the back of the card with an O84 number to dial to record a message.

To send a message, all that is needed is the purchase of a Christmas card that has the Cell C sticker attached to the back of the card and then to simply follow the voice prompts to leave a personalized Christmas message.

Once the message is recorded, a unique code will be provided that needs to be written on the sticker. The sticker, with instructions for retrieval of the recorded message, should then be attached to the inside of the card.

The message can be retrieved by the recipient by dialling the 084 number on the card and following the voice prompts.

The cards will be available at most of South Africa's card selling outlets.
