McCain surprises Nazareth House
McCain South Africa recently arranged a surprise lunch for the elderly and children living at Nazareth House. McCain also donated R20,000 to the organisation, which is not only an old age home and a children's home but also a hospice.
“Spending the day at Nazareth House was truly magical, to see the smiles on both the adults and children’s faces really meant the world to us. We are so glad that we could bring them some joy on this special day. It is amazing how something small like a lunch could mean so much to so many,” said Deolinda Da Costa, marketing manager of McCain South Africa.
The donated funds will go to helping Nazareth House support those who are not able to support themselves. It will go towards continuing to provide care for all the residents by providing them with nutritious meals, clothes for winter and medical supplies. The donation will also go towards providing the children with quality education, as well as assisting with the growing family needs at the children’s home.
