Global leaders, practitioners, scientists, civil society and the private sector met at the conference, which was hosted by the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) and the World Bank, to share experiences and demonstrate how early action on Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) can act as a driver of green growth.

She focused on the comprehensive rural development strategy linked to land and agrarian reform, including food security, which is addressed through the DAFF's Masibambisane Rural Development Initiative and other programmes, says Allafrica.com.
