SA construction experts vote for their best brands

When answering their preferred choices, respondents faced open-ended questions where they were able to state products and service providers freely, in their own words.

CTM was voted the best in the category Chain Store Retailing in Bathrooms, while Glue Devil came in pole position in the category Adhesive Tapes. Experts in the field of construction in South Africa likewise deemed Isotherm the best in categories Interior Wall Insulation Products and Attics and Ceilings Insulation Products, and Xtreme CCTV in the category Video Surveillance Systems.

The survey was conducted in South Africa in September 2017 by the Swiss organisation ICERTIAS on a sample of 1,200 respondents - construction professionals and DIY individuals (internet users older than 18).

Some of the other category winners included CAT (Construction Machinery), Monier Coverland (Roof Tiles), Castor & Ladder (Ladders), Bonnox (Fencing), Hilti (Construction Tools), Duram (Floor Primer), Swartland (Windows), Lafarge (Concrete), Isca (Water Mixers), Dulux (Exterior Paint).
