Bugatti Chiron races fighter jet

If you've ever seen Top Gun (and let's face it, who hasn't), you'll recall the famous scene where Lt Pete "Maverick" Mitchelraces a fighter jet with his Kawazaki GPZ900R 'Ninja'. We are pretty sure that movie was the inspiration for this most recent PR exercise: Bugatti Chiron races fighter jet

There is no better candidate to take on a fighter jet than a Chiron as they are both the peak of their respective genres, even if the car is heavily outgunned. The Chiron’s numbers are worth repeating. Eight litres, four turbochargers, 16 cylinders, 1,100kW, 1,600Nm of torque, 0-200km/h in 6,1 sec and an electronically limited top speed of 420km/h.
