Looking back at Africa's biggest travel trade show - Indaba 2013

An annual event such as Indaba in itself promotes international exchange and benefits the tourism industry of South Africa, and more specifically, Durban. It provides a valuable platform for industry to communicate its offering but also to interact and collaborate to improve and progress the overall benefit of the business sector.
The event is an important and prominent project for GL events Oasys' Durban branch, not only because of its overall significance in the South African business community, but also because of the complex nature of the assignment and the sheer volume of work. Our team of 13 in Durban was responsible for building 17 custom designed stands this year, and our Johannesburg and Cape Town offices each supplied a stand. The standards at Indaba are very high and the GL events Oasys team delivered a final product encompassing innovative solutions and the latest technological advancements on par with the offering of our international counterparts.
Opening day this year was probably the wettest in the history of the show, however no amount of rain could dampen the anticipation and excitement in the air. The atmosphere was incredible and left one with a feeling of infinite positivity and possibility, knowing that the GL events Oasys team made a significant contribution to the total experience. It was the perfect example of the standard of service GL events Oasys provides - that of a global and internationally acclaimed organisation.
