Demystifying media plans for clients, agencies

The IAS (Independent Agency Search and Selection Company) has launched its Independent Media Interrogation (IMI) product, which has been designed to demystify the media world and help busy clients gain a faster grasp of what a media plan can be expected to do.

IAS consultants are all experienced advertising and media experts and are more than capable of offering this valuable service by staying in touch with what is happening in the media.

The company will also work closely with the advertising agencies and media agencies in order to ensure that they understand the key issues that require greater clarification among clients.

Comments Johanna McDowell, MD of the IAS and an industry veteran with three decades of advertising and media experience, "IAS can never provide the media expertise levels of a media agency or full service advertising agency, but it can help clients and their agencies find a better way to understand a complex subject.

"As a result, this understanding can improve the dynamics of the client agency relationship, which is, first and foremost, the role of the IAS," concludes McDowell.

IAS, in association with the AAR Group (UK) was founded in South Africa by the Mazole Holdings Group in 2006. It specialises in client/agency relationship management and helping clients find agencies. Its international associate was founded more than 30 years ago in the UK and has associates and branches throughout the world.
