SADAG looking for Press Assistant for awareness campaigns
The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) is looking for a press assistant or intern who can assist with organisation's extensive media campaign managed annually across its website, (600,000 hits per month), a newsletter that goes out to over 23,000 people nationwide and an active social media platforms.
The group works very closely with all press and media, which results in over R100m worth of free advertising per annum. It is the leading mental health advocacy group in the country. With 15 toll-free helplines dealing with all mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder, as well as running the country's only Suicide Crisis Helpline, it receives over 400 calls per day from people who feel helpless and hopeless.
