Stripping the strapping Stormers
TBWA\Fusion created a poster and press advert to launch the new adidas sponsored Stormers kit in February 2006. The advert, showing a half-naked Stormers squad fighting over their new shirt, can currently be seen in the Stormers' match day brochure, club shop and around the stadium on match days. "To get a Super 14 start in a Stormers shirt means you've got to earn it" says TBWA\Fusion acting creative director Richard Lamb-Hughes, "We wanted this ad to capture the squad's hunger". The TBWA\Fusion creative team consists of Ryan Barkhuizen, Roger Gordon, Wilton Ackeer and Frederic Benistant, with Marco Grob as photographer.
