The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) has issued the following rulings for week 39, 26-30 September 2011: AAA Electrical/T Norval (upheld); AVIS/A Savvas (dismissed); Bronx/H Horn (respondent's undertaking accepted on condition that the claim is withdrawn not used again in future); Dr Kazooba/M Khan (upheld); Five Roses Tea/M Caine (dismissed); Fruit & Veg olive oil/J Lourens (undertaking is accepted on condition that the advertisement at issue (which has since been withdrawn) is not used again in the same format in future); Home Comfort Heat Pump/D Palmer (upheld); iGear/V Demetriou (dismissed); Knorr soup/S Kerr (dismissed); Penis enlargement/P Bowden (dismissed); Pick n Pay Kids DVD/S Woolf (dismissed); Pin Pop/Milkit (dismissed); Samsung Galaxy S2/R van der Walt (upheld); Spoil 'em Meat Bites/N A Cameron (dismissed); Vodacom '42.2 mbps/Cell C (the directorate does not deem it necessary to impose any further sanctions on the respondent at this time).
