3D screens for POS applications
As the retail environment suffers from increasing clutter, grabbing consumer's attention is one the top priorities for brand managers and FMCG companies. A project using 3D technology distributed by TCC Media has seen 3D screens used as part of gondola end displays in the CheckersHypers and Pick 'n Pay Hypermarkets.
TCC Media created 3D Airwick content using the existing Airwick TV ads to ensure consistency in the marketing message. Run in conjunction with Reckitt Benckiser, the campaign uses technology created by Newsight, which has lodged in excess of 200 patents globally. The Newsight 3D images are a combination of eight views, which enhances the viewing angle, resulting in a better image. Another differentiating factor is the 57 inch LCD unit.
The 3D content is accredited internationally and created locally.
