The DTI aired commercials on Commuter FM, on 3 500 Star Music special edition cassette tapes, and placed visuals on 40 full wrap taxis. On their own, the taxis generated 48 million impacts during the six months, and many would-be entrepreneurs needing information about starting their own businesses contacted the help-line. Adding more impact to the campaign, ComutaNet promoters distributed eight hundred thousand DTI information leaflets at major taxi ranks across South Africa.
