Soft fabric gliding mouse
On Friday 21 January 2011, Logitech launched a wireless mouse that delivers easy navigation on soft surfaces such as a sofa, bed or a pillow. The M515 features a sealed bottom case that makes gliding on fabric easy and eliminates fabric fuzz collection and a hand-detection sensor, so that the mouse is only active when needed.
"Many people are connecting their computer to the TV and this mouse was built to address the needs of this experience," said Leslie Smyth, Logitech sales manager for Southern Africa and developing countries.
It features hyper-fast scrolling, up to two years of battery life and plug-and-forget wireless connectivity with its unifying receiver. The receiver stays in the laptop so it's less likely to be lost, giving a reliable connection with virtually no delays or dropouts. Users can easily add other unifying- compatible mice and keyboards to the same receiver.
