Lawsuit over alleged code theft could shelve Facebook
This is the second time a trio of former Harvard classmates has sued Facebook alleging its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, stole their code and used it to build his site.
The first lawsuit, filed in 2004, was dismissed because of a legal technicality. Zuckerberg, who could become a billionaire before 30 if he sells the company, denies the allegations.
A federal judge in Boston is set to hear arguments this week in a case that accuses Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg of stealing the code on which he built his massively popular Web site. The lawsuit could at least damage the young Web 2.0 entrepreneur's reputation, and at worst result in a Facebook shutdown.
