Franchising directory available to public
The annual franchising directory from the Franchise Association of Southern Africa (FASA) will go on sale at selected bookstores countrywide. This is the first time the directory will be made available to the public and it will cover such articles as what franchising is all about and how to evaluate a business opportunity.
The legalities of franchising, as well as the challenges of accessing finance and finding the right location are also covered and a number of industry experts will examine the current state of franchising in South Africa and what is needed to propel it forward.
With Franchise Week on 6-8 May 2010 at the Sandton Convention Centre, which includes the International Franchise Expo, the Franchise Convention and the FASA Awards for Excellence in Franchising, franchising is taking the lead in the economic recovery.
