Great Stock’s seriously funny and unusual image collection

The Voller Ernst (loose translation: “Deadly Serious”) collection of images offered by Great Stock! seldom leaves a viewer feeling lukewarm about them, according to sales manager Clinton Nortje: “The images are just remarkably different from the usual stock image fare everyone is used to. Voller Ernst has the knack of finding images that are really compelling, for reasons ranging from their sheer beauty, irreverence, humour, decadence, boldness, black humour – sometimes bordering on the lavatorial.”

Great Stock is the exclusive Southern African representative of this collection, which has virtually gained cult status amongst creatives internationally.

Nortje says that this Rights Managed collection is mostly too out-of-the-ordinary for conservative clients, although it does contain some “straighter” imagery.
