5FM up for international radio award

Readers of AllAccess.com nominated 5FM for a Worldwide Radio Summit Award in the category of 'Influential international radio station'. The only South African radio station nominated, it competes against BBC Radio 1 (UK), NRJ (France), Triple J (Australia) and Xfm (UK) for the honour. Nominations across 33 categories opened on 16 January 2012 and closed on 19 February. The international awards ceremony will be held in Hollywood at the end of April.
