The who's who of sports journalism braved the early winter chill to attend SAB Limited's annual gala evening celebrating excellence in sports coverage at the Sandton Convention Centre on Thursday 11 May. Dubbed the "Oscars of Sports Journalism", the competition is now in its 26th year and firmly established as the premier event on the sporting media's calendar. With Mark Banks as MC, the vibrant, exciting evening's entertainment included a gala banquet, dramatic pantsula dancing and a breathtaking display by aerial trampolinists from Tuks.
