Stirrr Mobile Bar is a service run by a group of young South African entrepreneurs in partnership with Canderel. The idea behind the company was first mooted in November 2006 when someone put coffee and mobile together.
“With the growing coffee culture around the globe, we realised that there was a huge gap in the coffee market in SA. Although mobile bars existed, as did portable coffee companies, no one had made the art of coffee-making mobile,” says Andy Sachar.
The company claims to offer a unique fusion of style, class, professionalism, quality and most importantly - variety. “Unlike other mobile bar companies who only offer niche bars, we offer our customers variety. Customers can choose smoothies, coffees, cocktails, breakfast bars, cigar bars, full alcohol bars and more. We also offer tailored menu solutions to suit specific needs,” says Sachar, and for those who like to watch their calorie intake, Stirrr ensures that their preferred low-calorie sweetener, Canderel, is always available.
The company's ultra chic, unique wooden and chrome bars can be branded and customised to suit specific events, as can their alcohol or cocktail offerings. Professional Baristas ensure the coffee offerings are just right, and professional barmen ensure that your favourite tipple is tops.
“Our focus is not merely to be an extra at an event, it is to make the event,” says Sachar.
