×Transnet says that it expects to create 558 000 jobs as a result of the cash it will inject into the economy through various projects aimed at improving its rail, port and pipeline infrastructure. It also intends having at least 2 000 apprentices in training every year for the next seven years. Last year the parastatal trained just 500 apprentices, according to the Fin24 report.
