Original Public Enemy to tour SA

The original Public Enemy line-up: Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff and the Security of the First World will be playing a series of gigs in Joburg and Cape Town between 2 and 9 December, 2010, but the final dates are still to be advised.
Original Public Enemy to tour SA

Known for their revolutionary and politically charged lyrics, innovative beats and incendiary live shows, Public Enemy are recognised for helping to develop the hip-hop movement's sense of social and political consciousness, and rewriting the rules that have shaped the genre for the past 25 years.

The band has albums such as "Yo! Bum Rush The Show" and "It Takes A Nation Of Millions".

    An outspoken activist

Chuck D's insights into politics, social injustice and the future of the music industry are as powerful as ever, and he continues to be an outspoken activist, lecturer, author and producer.

As part of the tour, he will hold workshops in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, where he hopes to impart his wisdom and knowledge to SA's hip-hop community.

Ticket sales opened on Friday the 22nd October and are selling fast.
